It’s difficult to capture the hypnotic, foreboding sound of drone doom done well but this is superb. Reminds me of the highly enjoyable Pentemple album “0))) Presents…” although the sax and iterative drumming add a real touch of class to this release.

Dead Neanderthals is just so awesome. So mature in their aesthetics.The mantle they weave here is otherworldly and I can basically follow any instrument through this drone-jazz-opera and drop in awe. Especially the drumbeat and rhytmic pattern is so mesmerizing.
